MP’s, PDC and SME’s at Pacific Defence Show 2019
The International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia, held the Pacific 2019 International Maritime Expos from 8-10 October. Numerous small to medium-sized enterprises attended the exhibition, including Hetech, showcasing our defence manufacturing capabilities.
Hetech Attends Pacific 2019
Hetech, a top electronic design and manufacturing company in Australia, was one of the attendees, along with 15 other similar SMEs. Hetech was showcasing its capabilities in designing and manufacturing unique electronic packages for enterprises and governments from all over the world. The show was the perfect platform for the company to sell its quality in design to the international market.
Hetech showcased numerous undergoing projects such as new and innovative technologies that will be used in Australian naval products. Hetech extended its record in projects such as electronic prototyping, SMT and thru-hole assembling as well as PCB and schematic designs. Hetech is the leading electronic design & manufacturing company in Australia, supplying its technologies to the defence manufacturing industry and multiple private companies.
Visit by MP Cameron Dick
In attendance was Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Planning, the Honorable Cameron Dick. He described the show as a signal that Australia is poised and ready to sail off with the lion’s share of the defence and maritime supply chain.
Launch of PDC
The Prime Defence Consortium (PDC), a group of manufacturers working together to provide affordable manufacturing solutions for the defence industry, was also launched during the event. The PDC includes Hetech along with other companies, including, HUBER+SUHNER, which manufactures electrical and optical systems, Land Air Sea Space and Systems Pty Ltd. The latter companies design and manufacturer electrical interconnecting systems.
Land Forces 2020
The next defence expo will be Land Forces 2020. The exhibition will be a platform for delegates, participants, exhibitors, and visitors to socialize with their peers, prospective clients, and potential suppliers. It will also showcase equipment that is in high demand in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
The event will exhibit manufacturers, maintenance, and logistics specialists as well as system integrators who handle a wide range of land welfare. This includes weapon systems, helicopters, combat engineering, and strategic communications.
